Consolidation in the CDFI Industry: Risks & Rewards explored the growing conversation around consolidation and M&A in the Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) industry. The speakers: Marla Bilonick, President and CEO of NALCAB, Doug Raymond, senior partner in the corporate practice of Faegre Drinker, and Sara Razavi, CEO of Working Solutions CDFI and Main Street Launch, shared real-world experiences with mergers, acquisitions, and alternative partnership models. They discussed both the benefits, like greater scale, operational efficiency, and expanded impact, as well as the challenges, including legal complexity, funding transitions, and staff integration.
For the first time, we will be hosting follow-on conversations about “Consolidation in the CDFI Industry” in a small group format. Register to participate on March 20th at 1 pm Eastern (10 am Pacific).
